Now witness the power of this fully armed and operational battle station. Next steps will be getting virtual infrastructure in place and getting the website rained down from the cloud. Yes, I still have to replace the monitor.
Me when an end user's browser is slow: "Can you try clearing your cache?"
vs
Me when my browser is slow: "I guess I'll be using Firefox to access this site moving forward."
@notshenetworks I walk more with my dogs now working remotely than I ever have commuting in. Before I would take them on a quick 15 min walk before trying to beat the traffic.
I guess this is the new way: use a social media site until leadership decides it's not making enough money and sells it out completely for ads that ruin the UX, abandon ship slowly, adopt the new hot platform that hasn't prioritized profit yet, rinse and repeat.
@tlark8 I don't mind popular bands performing as an after hours activity (also that is an INCREDIBLE choice), but I wish more keynotes were presented by industry leaders in touch with the product.
@heyitsylan One year at wwdc the band Good Charolate played. I feel that’s ok to an after hours show. To your point though during the conference any celebrity is there purely for sales and marketing. I agree I’d much rather hear from the community and product people.
When did tech companies decide that we want to watch famous people at their conferences?
Maybe it's just me but I'd much rather hear about someone using the product for interesting things than a random celeb's inspirational talk?
People who want access to corporate cards have never had to deal with actually tending to all of our receipts and invoices, providing justifications, and doing it all in a timely manner. I'd rather not buy anything at all.
@DBattisto16 We use a very serviceable system that is user friendly and it's still a chore. 😂 But I guess it comes with the territory when you're the de facto system owner for most of the apps.
With search engines readily available my ability to retain information is so bad. If I look up a fact, probably not going to commit it to memory because it's easy to find again!
Is it just me?
@bria_sullivan 1Password. Manage it for enterprise and also use the personal edition - works great, although my biggest complaint is Android is slow to pull it up as a suggested app to pull a password from, but that's probably not their fault.
