“Art doesn’t ask for permission—it asks for belief. Time does the rest.”
This moment feels deeply personal.
In November 2018, at my small gallery in Zurich, I showed CryptoPunks as art—as part of a commitment to presenting new contemporary art.
At the time, there were many critical voices from the traditional system, questioning why I was showing “strange things,” and whether they belonged in a gallery at all.
Today, seeing CryptoPunks and Chromie Squiggles enter @MuseumModernArt’s permanent collection feels like a powerful reminder that beliefs matter—and that seeds planted with conviction can grow in ways we don’t always foresee.
This is not my credit to take. But I do believe that small signals matter. Early gestures matter. And above all, collectors matter—their courage, generosity, and willingness to push art forward is what truly creates change!
I’m profoundly grateful to the incredible collectors who made this donation possible, and to everyone who continues to expand what art can be.
Huge respect to @Noahbolanowski and @1OF1_art for the amazing work, and to all the collectors who donated—this is the power of community in action.
Art moves forward because people believe before it’s easy to believe!
@ArtOnBlockchain, @CozomoMedici, @gmoneyNFT, @jdh, @judithESSS, @kukulabanze, @larvalabs, @NTmoney, @Rhyd0n, @squiggleDAO, and @VonMises14 as well as to MoMA’s Stuart Comer, Michelle Kuo, Christophe Cherix Stuart Comer for their extraordinary support and curatorial vision.

I suggested to @miminguyenmimi that the gallery would be a great place for a workshop — we’re gonna try ! Next weekend (nyc) I’ll show how I work with shaders to sketch : luma.com/gz1o0wvd

Ok everyone. All are rendered. All appear on OpenSea. Features still haven’t fully populated but I assume that will come soon.
I just once again want to say I’m sorry for the site going down last minute. No excuses.
I’m sorry to the folks that missed out on bidding.
And sorry for folks that were pushed out during the outage.
We feel the frustration and are embarrassed about the way it went down.
It was literally my biggest fear going into this drop that I shared with Derek in the last hour. There has been nowhere near this level of activity on Art Blocks for a long time and I guess decentralization won here as the onchain auction continued while our front end systems failed. We own it though and will work on hardening the system on both the smart contract level to give more opportunities to have a last minute adjustment and on the frontend as well to be able to fallback to a functional state sooner.
Sincerest apologies to @glitchmarfa. But incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done to support me and my work throughout the last six months.
Incredibly grateful also for all of the support from the community (and those that made supporters) before the drop and during the aftermath and equally grateful to those that are expressing their frustration.
To my wife Mara and brother Daniel on the GenGoods team this project could not exist without your support. Thank you.
Ultimately, there are 999 LIFT tokens out there. As I’ve been on a call with the team throughout the whole ordeal I’ve been checking them all out and I’m really excited about how the collection turned out. Millions of new immutable pixels are now preserved on the blockchain and that makes me happy.
I truly hope you enjoy the collection.

Last 398 have been queued for rendering. And they’re starting to trickle into OpenSea as well! Reminder the last token #999 is reserved for a future placement and will not be minted now. Thanks for your patience and support.

A number of museums have inquire about adding one of the original Reflection physical canvases to their permanent collections, so I took the effort to create on-chain NFT versions of them.
These are NOT for sale, but for donations to museums as they look to acquire early AI art for their permanent collections.
But man they look awesome, and the NFT contain both a high resolution image, and the SVG Fully On-Chain.

The Feynman point is the name given to the position in the decimal expansion of π where a sequence of six consecutive nines first appears. It is named after the physicist Richard Feynman, who allegedly joked that he would like to memorize the digits of pi up to that point and then say “and so on” as if π. were rational. The Feynman point occurs at the 762nd digit after the decimal point, which is much earlier than expected by chance. ✍️

@kimasendorf Yes, I know that this is not possible in reality. I'm asking the question to point out this somewhat strange situation. But anyways, now I can say that one of the digital images for which I own a certificate is on display in the museum ... That´s cool

@highqualitysh1t How to discuss with anonymous holders? The work is online on sabotage.kim
