For #FluorescenceFriday here's some mitochondrial actin "state switching." This metaphase mito starts out associated with actin cables, before forming an actin comet tail ☄️, becoming trapped within an actin cloud ☁️, then exiting stage left via another☄️ nature.com/articles/s4158…

I’m always open to collaborations! It would be great to have a unified processing library that could be used from any tool. Feel free to add that to the forum hydraimageprocessor.com/forum .

It would be nice to work with @haesleinhuepf, @ctrueden and the @FijiSc community to have platform independent CPU and GPU image processing... for example an FFT library, which could run on Cuda or OpenCL depending on what's available. (probably brings us back to imagej-ops)

Connected components analysis and watershed are pretty tricky on the GPU 😏 I offer to help if we do it also in #OpenCL in parallel for #clij 😏
