@JohnnyWalsh__ @johnnywalsh_ No it’s not it punishes people that want to visit and engage in commerce in your town and it makes everyone equally miserable. You’re a unique kind of lunatic.

@_NotA_Bot_ @PhillyMayor @GovernorShapiro @PHLCouncil If it had competent leadership, yes it totally can handle it. Meanwhile Scott Sauerkraut is taking home $300,000 a year, and months ago fired the head instructor of the Railroad rules class because he refused to allow unqualified engineers on the railroad.

@PhillyMayor @GovernorShapiro @PHLCouncil Do you think SEPTA can handle a 50% increase in ridership in its current state without significant disruptions? The links between gas prices and transit ridership are clear, the questions are how fast will people’s travel behavior change and how ready will SEPTA be.

This is the most dramatic gas price increase in three decades, and oil prices in Asia are currently 60% higher in Asia and rising. Those prices will eventually come to the US. What is Philly’s plan for transit if gas hits $6-7 per gallon? nytimes.com/2026/03/18/ups…

@Richzeoli Excellent interview with Secretary Chris Wright but you didn’t ask the big question - Why hasn’t he followed President Trump’s directive on incandescent light bulbs? The rule outlawing their sale still remains in effect. What goes on? Thanks Rich!

@andrewdefrank No, bicyclists blow thru red lights and should not have ‘protected’ status over any other form of transport. Disgusting pillaging of hardworking taxpayers money. Go down an alternate street, solve your own problems!

The problem with bike lanes is that we're so close to unlocking SO MANY MORE benefits. Only when you have a truly protected network will people who would otherwise never bike give it a try. There's nothing "responsible" about getting cold feet on the one yard line.
