Yesterday I reached a turning point in my life. My NFT life has mostly been about supporting our community of artists and musicians. Last night, I listed my own art as NFTs for the VERY. FIRST. TIME. 😅🫣 These works on @objktcom tell a very personal story. Details at 🔗👇

It feels like over the past 4-5 years, we've created an ecosystem that puts unfair pressure on artists to give us more than just their art - burn mechanisms, deep dives into the entire creation process for each piece, requests for behind-the-scenes workflow, and fancy mint mechanisms, to name a few. What collectors tend to forget is that the artists are, in fact, artists. They aren't PR people, they aren't technical geniuses, and they aren't investment strategists. While some in the space are really good at all these things, the vast majority are not. The added pressure to deliver "more" takes a toll on the art and the creator. With less time to dedicate to their craft, they have to spend countless hours figuring out ways to "add value." This is NOT how we build. Let the artists, art.

seeing what @AsyncArt built 4 years ago and is just now being released by other new projects is a testament to the foresight and legends the team are. Huge shout out and hug to @conlan @n0shot1 @BreadBreaker22 for everything you did to lay the groundwork for tool other teams are just now figuring out.

One of my long term goals was to do more physical paintings having zero experience with it. Now I am experimenting with new tools.

I am surrounded by boxes full of art I collected Yesterday, looking at them, I had the strange feeling they were representing life decisions I never wanted to take... Maybe choosing an artwork is easier than living... Or maybe it's just what I really love
