@Mike_Sammon @dan_grey @OctopusEnergy Our base pay is 43k in the first year and you only work 4 days in summer. The opportunities to do overtime are vast too and it’s the best job ever. I actually miss it 🥺

@dan_grey @OctopusEnergy 26-30k base salary is not enough to attract top talent. Most good heating engineers are on 35-40.

@TheOriginalSai I am not really sure what you are implying. I was on the same wave length, we are healthy, young, fit and we look after ourselves but if I could go back I’d have wished we had taken it. I understand we had limited information but it was the safer option

One of my best friends, is a GP. He said he was going to wait. My family friend is a GP. She said she was going to wait. My mate from uni is a GP. He said he was going to wait. Taking the vaccine, made absolutely no sense to me, especially when 3 GP's had personally told me they were waiting to see whether the vaccine was safe to take or not. They were all obviously concerned with safety. So why were they all comfortable enough to administer the vaccine to patients. It's inappropriately outrageous & utterly unforgiveable.

Does anyone have an electric vehicle they charge from their home for work but the company pays? Either directly or reimbursing from a separate meter to the rest of their house?

6.30 am skinny dips and clicky heels as I had the beach to myself
