Meanwhile the administration wants 200 billion dollars to go to war in Iran and the GOP in Congress refuses to pass a simple TSA funding bill while the rest of DHS funding is debated.
We shouldn't have our travel held hostage by partisan government pissing matches. We should see this as an opportunity to make the case for private airport security.
In the meantime, it is really on the leadership in the legislature and the executive to get this fixed. It has the votes. The Republicans will try and blame Democrats here, but the truth is, they are in charge and they are prolonging this while also asking for 200 billion for war.
