@4SeamFB @WhaleFUD And if that was true, why is this war still going on? Why is Iran finding itself in a position to make demands if the US is so superior as you say? Think about that.

@WhaleFUD Risk of conflict, lol? You mean risk of U.S. striking Iran again? Because Iran poses zero risk to the U.S. with their weak little army for ants.

Iranian sources close to the negotiating team are saying: * There’s still no final draft * US nuclear demands have completely deadlocked the talks * Tehran is furious over US threats and losing interest in negotiations * The risk of conflict breaking out at any moment is rising fast

@NoContextHumans Rent is based on a 360 day year made up of 12 equal months. That is the law in every state. Pretty simple math. Same rent every month. Now pay the balance plus the late fees and avoid making this mistake again.

@Eternity_XY @WhaleFUD They are sitting there for show. You ever hear of asymmetrical warfare? Drone warfare is incredibly cheap while defense systems are not.

@C3_Nik When the people can't trust their own government is when there is a serious disconnect that will make the subsequent fall out even more devastating.

In the last couple of weeks, a thought crossed my mind which I struggle with: Maybe it's 'okay' or even good that governments signal that everything is alright, in an attempt to calm people down. As an investor, I have to make more realistic assessments though which can be rather depressing. I would like to know what you think about this because I haven't made up my mind in that regard. Let me know what you think about this: Is it okay for governments to distort reality or even to lie, in an attempt to calm people down?

Imagine you had to choose your life at age 40: Option A: Single. No kids. $10M net worth. Travel anywhere. Total freedom. Quiet house. Quiet holidays. Option B: Married. 3 kids. $1M net worth. Drive a Toyota. Chaos every morning. Loud house. Full dinner table. Be honest, which life are you choosing?

Pushing a regime into a situation in which it has nothing to lose anymore can result in unintended, very negative consequences. I sure hope that this is taken into consideration…

We promised to bring decentralization to streaming services. Promise KEPT ✅. For the first time ever, a streaming service provider users ran THREE 12-hour Kick streams simultaneously on the OctaSpace network, marking our official debut in live streaming infrastructure. Next step, scale to thousands of streams running simultaneously on Octa. No downtime. No bottlenecks. Just pure decentralization & privacy.

@RobJJohnson74 @mark_slapinski Yeah, it's called money printers go brrrr which is how fiat governments have been doing instead of raising taxes. This is the silent tax.

@mark_slapinski We need taxes to pay for schools hospitals roads military. Money has to come from somewhere and we need working class and middle class to have more not less. Taxes are a redistribution mechanism as well.

One critical challenge for the next decade will be this: How does society change when the unemployment rate rises to 20-30% due to A.I. and robotics? This will be a very hard problem to solve.

@Duck0fD3ath24 @Spageezy1 @MelissaLMRogers Open any international economics textbook and read the definition of tariff and how it works. Tariffs are collected by the us government. The importer pays a fee. Look at the actual cost of your goods on a national basis and then make your conclusion.

@Spageezy1 @MelissaLMRogers Aw gee, this again? That’s a whole other subject. But I will point out that the exporter can share the tariff with the importer and thereby the customer never sees the increase. That’s why tariffs are way up and inflation is down.

@Trevor_McHaney @politics_w_sami @MelissaLMRogers Well said! Trump did run his campaign on putting 🇺🇸 1st. And that is what he is doing. Canadians had a free ride for a long time. Didn't pay their fair share. And 🇺🇸 still offers us complimentary defence. Why aren't Canadians upset with China & their 100% tariffs on us?
