Neke države budu samo na mapi. Crna Gora je nastajala u ljudima željnim slobode. 20 godina obnovljene nezavisnosti u slavu precima koji su joj ime u visine iznijeli i čistim ga ostavili, a nama vječna obaveza da je činimo boljom nego što smo je zatekli. Živjela Crna Gora! 🇲🇪

The latest developments across the Middle East are perilous. Iran’s regime has killed thousands. Its ballistic missile and nuclear programmes, along with support for terror groups, pose a serious threat to global security. The EU has adopted strong sanctions against Iran and supported diplomatic solutions, including on the nuclear issue. I have spoken to Israel’s Foreign Minister Saar and other ministers in the region. The EU is also coordinating closely with Arab partners to explore diplomatic paths. Protection of civilians and international humanitarian law is a priority. Our consular network is fully engaged in facilitating departures for EU citizens. Non-essential EU personnel are being withdrawn from the region. Our Aspides naval mission remains on high alert in the Red Sea and stands ready to help keep the maritime corridor open.

I welcome today's adoption of the UN GA resolution “Support for lasting peace in Ukraine” initiated by Ukraine. At defining moments, the international community must be clear. Today, it is. For us, this is not just another vote. It is a reaffirmation that Ukraine is not alone — and that the principles of the UN Charter still matter. We thank all 107 Member States who supported this clear message. We will continue to act — firmly and consistently — to achieve a comprehensive, just and lasting peace in line with the @UN Charter and international law. I am grateful to my deputy @Mariana_Betsa, @sdvorn and @MFA_Ukraine International Organizations Department, @MelnykAndrij and @UKRinUN team.

Four years since Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine. Four years of pain, resilience, and extraordinary courage. Ukraine deserves not just an end to war, but a peace built on justice, accountability, and lasting stability. 🇺🇦

Like most lines of work, diplomacy springs surprises. Thankfully more often than not, positive. Today in Tallinn I reconnected with my dear friend and colleague @i_ivanisevic with whom we had shared a tour in our respective Missions to @coe. Time goes by. Friendships remain. 🇨🇾🇲🇪
