@SWARAJYANIRMAN I have never ever seen a Muslim living in one state distancing themselves from Ms living in other states. Hindus have a fake pride in regional culture, customs, rituals and traditions.

Marathis are culturally much closer to Kannada and Telugu people. Our customs, rituals, and temple traditions, especially our Kuldaivata (family deities) are very similar. In contrast, we share almost no common culture with Gujaratis. Historically, we have been more like rivals than friends, and this isn't a recent development. Even 2,300 years ago, the Saka rulers (Western Satraps) who controlled Gujarat were defeated and punished by the first prominent Maharashtrian emperor, Gautamiputra Satakarni of the Satavahana dynasty. Our food habits, customs, and ethnic roots are distinctly different. There is very little in common between us. We cannot be even friends!!

@shashankraut005 You should insist on all marathi politicians, actors and well known personalities to educate their children in marathi medium schools. This will inculcate marathi pride in children. This will stop Hindi imposition for future generations. You know very well you can’t do this. 😅

Maharashtra, Goa, West Bengal and the 5 Southern States should unite to oppose any forceful imposition of Hindi and policies that favour Hindi speaking regions. Large scale migration and such policies are putting immense pressure on local languages and cultures. If we don’t stand together, our regional identity may slowly fade away.
