Here's what I've learned in the last few months: when you're not necessary, you're no longer wanted. It's hard to accept, but it's true. Brush them off, no matter how nice they seem, you're just a transaction, an opportunity. You deserve love and support. Put yourself first.

There's an ugly side emerging in the Brookfield mayor's race. Mayor Steve Ponto's daughter, Stephanie (who is also the campaign manager), has been "harassing" challenger Mike Hallquist and his supporters. Alderman Hallquist sent these emails to Mayor Ponto in January.
