Deeply shocked and saddened by the brutal attack on Sri Dushcharla Satyanarayana garu, a true nature lover who was only requesting sheep keepers not to cut trees. The painful irony is that the very 70 acres of forest where this happened was nurtured and protected by him. Sharing a powerful cartoon by @chmrityunjay garu that captures this harsh reality sometimes art speaks louder than words. Such acts are unacceptable and must be dealt with firmly. Wishing Satyanarayana garu a speedy recovery. Justice must prevail.

What began as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam's vision has blossomed into a 15-year citizen-led movement, boasting nearly 196 million geo-tagged trees, 22,000 rainwater harvesting systems, and thousands of revived water bodies. Now, our mission is to shift from climate ambition to real-world impact. By aligning with Article 6.4 of the Paris Agreement and leveraging innovative platforms like the Bharat Regeneration Index, we aim to extend this initiative to uplift vulnerable Commonwealth nations. Honoured and humbled to present my book “Vriksha Vedam 2.0” to the Hon’ble President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji, at Rashtrapati Bhavan today. Her profound reflections on the Pancha Bhutas- Akasha, Vayu, Agni, Jalam & Prithivi - from the Taittiriya Upanishad beautifully reminded us that humanity and nature are inseparable. When we protect nature, we protect ourselves. Her words that “Life flourishes only when the Earth is green” resonate deeply with the spirit of the #GreenIndiaChallenge, a people’s movement that has planted 19.6 crore saplings over the past 8 years.
