Deadline is reporting that Samara Weaving has been cast as Emma Frost in Marvel Studios' 'X-MEN.'
More details and casting decisions are expected to be announced at D23 on August 14

EXCLUSIVE: While there was no mention of any X-Men at Hall H this past weekend, Marvel Studios seems to be getting closer to forming its team of Mutants, as sources tell Deadline Samara Weaving is the choice to play Emma Frost in Marvel Studios upcoming X-Men movie. After meeting with a number of candidates, director Jake Schreier and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige landed on Weaving earlier this week to tackle the role of Frost. Blade Runner 2099 is taking a very different approach to the future of the franchise. 🤖
Speaking with Collider’s Steve Weintraub at San Diego Comic-Con, creator and showrunner Silka Luisa revealed that the Prime Video series was always intended to be a self-contained limited series, with all eight episodes telling a complete story.
Blade Runner 2099 premieres exclusively on Prime Video on September 9.

Cause Comic Con's Hall H system is totally screwed up. There is more than enough technology out there to manage lines. They should be linking the Hall H attendance to people's badges. Apparrently, the rumor is there might have been fraudulent wristbands floating around, plus Comic Con doesn't do a good job of clearing the Hall H between panels, plus they kow-tow to the big studios with comps for their employees. And in the end, the most die hard Comic Con supporters get totally screwed. Besides the Hall H debacle, Comic Con really needs to consider moving some of the big studios off the convention floor and either outside or take over Petco Park to free up space inside. It is insanely crowded.

HUGE COMIC CON SCREW UP!!! Crowds of people that waited 2 days to get into Hall H and had the wristbands supposedly guaranteeing them a seat (according to Comic Con's own website), were not allowed in. People spent all day Friday waiting for wrist bands, then all day Saturday outside in the heat, only to be told Comic Con screwed up and Hall H was full, before any of these people were allowed in. The Film Threat crew @ThatChrisGore & @mypalal were at the front of the line filming people's reactions. Skip to minute 20 in the video when crowds were told they weren't getting inside. This is one of the biggest screw ups in Comic Con history. People who paid hundreds of dollars to attend Comic Con just wasted two full days.

The Marvel Studios panel has concluded. In summary: Ryan Gosling as Ghost Rider, directed by Shawn Levy, coming in 2028. David Johnson playing T’Challa Jr in Black Panther III coming Dec 15 2028 New Avengers Doomsday trailer shown, and it was terrifying. Lots of new shows of Doom at the peak of his abilities. Scene for Spider-Man Brand New Day shown. No updates about Secret Wars or X-Men

@mypalal @Nerdrotics Wristband should get you into the first panel. Might not be in the front but at least in the panel. But also helps to camp overnight in line once you get the wristband. Saves from randoms cutting your spot in line.

@Nerdrotics Two hours before the panel started they told everyone who was in line waiting since this morning no one was getting in. These people got passes yesterday that put them in front. They waited 9 hours yesterday to get it. The way they told them is interesting. We have it on video.

COMIC CON UPDATE. Hall H is full and people are pissed. They waited two days. Got front-of-line passes, and was just told they are not getting in. Video to come. Not good for Doomsday.
