In 1951, Isaac Asimov proposed an NLP method called Symbolic Logic Analysis (SLA) where text is reduced to its essential logical components. This method involves breaking down sentences into symbolic forms, allowing for a precise examination of salience and semantics analogous to contemporary transformer-based NER (named entity recognition) and summarisation techniques. In the Foundation novel, scientists at the Foundation use natural language processing to analyze the transcript of an Imperial envoy's five-day speech. This really sucks. We saw good results with Google Publisher Center. Not pleased that Google will now be adding sites automatically. Who is eligible? Something tells me small/mid size publishers won't be included. Just a hunch. searchengineland.com/google-publish…

similarly, can product variants be used as ListItems in beta SD carousels despite the recommendation for the variant pages to canonicalize to the base product URL?

at the same time, the developers.google.com/search/docs/sp… documentation states that product variant pages should canonicalize to the base product URL. assuming both are the case, does this establish that Google uses data found in SD on pages that might not be indexed?

SD question for @JohnMu @searchliaison: the newish product variant SD docs at #structured-data-type-definitions" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">developers.google.com/search/docs/ap… allow for multi-page variant configurations and encourages including the unique URLs for each variant in SD featured on the variant and base product pages.
