Time is the only asset you can't get more of. If you're spending it chasing 50 cold investors instead of closing 3 warm customers, you're investing your time in the wrong place.

One of the most important questions for founders is: How do I make sure agents know about my product and service and choose it? All the old tricks won’t work. People who figure this out will win big

"Start fundraising six months early and let a few investors put in small checks with information rights. Show them you hit what you say you will hit, again and again, so trust compounds over time. You won’t optimize price, but you’ll optimize for partners, and when you raise, it can happen in hours, not months." What are the single biggest pieces of advice you would give to a founder going out to raise a Series A today @paulg @garrytan @alicebentinck @rsanghvi @apartovi

The story of Harvey is absolutely fricking wild. Two friends, a lawyer and an engineer realise the power of OpenAI and legal and cold email Sam Altman and co. They have calls which lead to OpenAI leading their Seed Round as the sole investor. (baller) Sequoia (@gradypb), @eladgil @saranormous go on to lead their Series A. Something I wanted to see if Claude Opus 4.5 could do: clone a fully functional Billion $ SAAS product and make it at least 100x cheaper. The first product that came to mind was TypeForm because it's very popular, very expensive, and in theory, very simple. The result is OpenForm: a polished + functional and Open Source Typeform clone at ~100x less cost, that can be setup and deployed in ~15 minutes. The agent building this ran for ~35 minutes. Here are the details, technique, and the code:

@angiecarrillor I'm into the title. (Also seems like it would make a good novel about a cult.) Will look it up. Did you feel like the book would be good for people who are already in a secure attachment style relationship?

Had a woman swipe me on 3 dating platforms. Send me a note to say hello and then never responded. A little over a month ago she added me on okcupid and I was like, "WTF, I am flattered, but how about we try to be friends?" She responds but avoids hanging out. A few weeks go by and I'm like, "Listen, your profile is all about how serious you are, I've invited you out a couple of times. What am I missing?" She responds by sending me her phone number. We are chatting, she's always busy but keeps writing to me about how dating sucks. Her family sucks. Her job sucks. Her health sucks. But never anything specific. (She has low iron is about the closest I've gotten to what's actually up.) A few days go by and she deletes her OKcupid account. So I text asking, "hey! Okcupid sent me a push notification that you deleted your account, did you find someone?" (A little bit excited for her. A little bit nervous that she thinks I'm dating her exclusively because she texted me good night a couple of times.) She responds with a 500 word screed about how every male should F off. I'm like, "Am I included?" More expletives and she's going off about how I stood her up and she can't believe I'm messaging her after all the BS I put her through. So I respond, "Are you trolling me?" She goes off again. I respond, "You have to think you're talking to someone else." She says, "Oh. This is true. Sorry I deleted you from my phone because you hadn't talked to me in 24hrs. Thought you were some other guy. No one should talk to you that way. My apologies." So I say, "Sure. No worries. Listen, if you ever want to be friends. Hit me up." She politely declines saying she doesn't need my pity and that she never wants to speak to me again. 3 DAYS LATER She swipes me on another dating app. I ignore. Wake up yesterday to a text that says, "How is your day, Daniel?" I am slow rolling this one trying to think if I should or shouldn't respond. Then around 5pm she sends me a note on the dating app saying, "I really want to date you." That's 3 points of contact so I feel like I've got to say something. I text her, "What does dating mean given the context?" She goes off saying I'm a grown man and I know what dating means. Which on some level, is true. So I told her, I'm not comfortable dating someone I've never met and I never want to meet someone as a first date. Friends first is what I'm looking for. And while we've been talking a fair amount, I don't really feel like I know her. She can't believe after weeks of hounding her, when she finally shows interest in me, I've friend zoned her. That takes the cake, and she never wants to speak to me again. I respond that she's got to be able to relate to me feeling confused because she's told me that she never wants to speak to me. She explains that was all a mistake and she already cleared that up. She thought I was another guy. She can't believe I'm bringing up that old news from yesterday! Then she tells me that she hopes I find what I'm looking for. I say thanks. She says, "Okay. Bye." This is the first time... I've been like... I wish this person didn't have my phone number.
