@ice_anchor 🙏 I have been waiting since BB6 to compare the progress with the newer satellites. I expected an automated process and believe we got it. I also expected an improvement in deployment and we got it. This has been fun to watch, so I wanted to share with all.

Both BB9 and BB8 have approached the same drag as BB10 when fully deployed. Looks like all the birds have fledged the nest! That makes for 10 fully functional satellites (BBW3, BB1-5, BB6, BB8-10) in orbit.

I know a CEO who zeroed out his salary from $800,000 to $1, and also waived his annual bonus and voluntarily forfeited nearly 400,000 unvested RSUs. When asked why he did so, he said he already owns a very large equity stake in the company, and his financial outcome is overwhelmingly tied to the company’s long term value, not annual pay check, and he wanted to align himself even more closely with shareholders. Can you guess who that CEO is? Hint: After a massive acquisition, he contacted retail investors within a week for interview along with other mainstream media. Somehow, he always has time for retail investors who stood beside him when company was trading at low single digit billions few years ago.

@Sphincter_Salad @spacanpanman Yep, this is my working theory as well. If you have Robinhood, you can see how the short interest trend inflected upward (notably for ASTS & RKLB) + other space stocks. SPCX investors are sitting on massive gains and there isn't enough market cap to hedge without basket approach

@spacanpanman Could it be everyone locked up in SPCX shorting a space basket to lock in gains until they’re able to sell? In which case you’d see buybacks following each tranche?

$ASTS: Kook and I discussed this spike and I think we have an answer for the increased short interest which makes total sense. There is a big setup going into end of July for this trade to completely unwind. I’ll discuss it in a space soon.

$ASTS: BB8-10 batch is scheduled to launch on June 17 with a launch window starting at 2:39 a.m. EDT. I also speculate that BB11-13 will be announced Ready To Ship by end of next week. I bought the dip today. 🤝
