@GergelyOrosz Wonder if your premise is correct. Writing is more about thinking and a bit of research. AI have made the research easier but don't think it has made any difference with thinking yet?
English

AI - in theory - should make writing easier, thus expressing ideas should be a lot easier.
And yet, I don't see all that much more things that are worthwhile to read. Sure, there's a lot more junk. But I don't see more interesting eng blogs, personal tech-related blogs etc.
What is going on?
(Is this a discoverability issue? Or are people / teams not writing/sharing all that much more, indeed?)
English

@artificialfries @jxnlco my daily driver except for using twitter.
English

@ilamparithi_ja @jxnlco do you use it? i honestly haven’t in awhile
English

@artificialfries @jxnlco i am slightly nervous what they are going to do about it. also excited to see what they do in the super app.

@sama will be good to know if 5.5 instant's output matches the thinking mode of any older version like 5.1 etc.. or will instant versions never match the output of thinking versions
English

5.5 instant comes to ChatGPT today!
imo it is a pretty big upgrade, i really like using it.
Eric@ericmitchellai
Excited that we're updating the default model in ChatGPT today! 5.5 instant is a substantial improvement in intelligence, image perception, and factuality. It also updates the writing style to be a bit plainer and more straightforward. What was on your wishlist?

@thsottiaux @mark_k @OpenAI Of atlas browser is also folded into codex, it will be interesting to watch how you guys pull it off. Because right now atlas is so good.
English

@MagicBendy @11MyJam I read somewhere that when a village had two William (will) they called one as Bill to differentiate
English

@tszzl @charliegreenman @StefanFSchubert To be fair to people, they don't get the information what's happening inside the companies on day to day basis.
English

@charliegreenman @StefanFSchubert how on earth should yesterday have moved the openai value by 30%? ridiculous
English

30% increase in 24h (though this market is small)

Stefan Schubert@StefanFSchubert
OpenAI also pass $1T on Ventuals, like Anthropic did before.

Ladies and gentlemen, today we're launching one of our biggest changes to 𝕏
Introducing Custom Timelines
This feature allows you to pin a specific topic to your home tab. With support for over 75 topics, you can dive deep into your favorite niche on X.
It's powered by Grok's understanding of every post with the algorithm's personalization—meaning every timeline is made just for you. And it works even better when it's a topic you already engage with.
This was a huge undertaking across many months, so we're excited for you take it for a spin.
We're giving early access to Premium subscribers on iOS (and Android coming very soon).

@simonw "Sorry we made a mistake. We should have done it differently. We heard you loud and clear."
Anytime tomorrow.
English

Wait is this part of an A/B test!?
Amol Avasare@TheAmolAvasare
For clarity, we're running a small test on ~2% of new prosumer signups. Existing Pro and Max subscribers aren't affected.
English

@puram_politics I must admit the list doesn't sound as bad as it sounded the first time I read it.
English

@puram_politics fair enough.
btw great job on steering conversation towards true federalism! keep going
English

@ilamparithi_ja I build models for a living. So, I enjoy doing that.
I am not sure about others.
English

@puram_politics Sorry noob question. What's the point of prediction election results one week before the election
English

@mitsuhiko @badlogicgames How do you know it was 450 commits
English

@badlogicgames What's even more impressive is that person produced 450 commits and more than 3000 files (hit the max file limit on GitHub's pull request viewer).
English

@thsottiaux I wish the shortcut to open side panel in codex app was same as Atlas browser 'cmd /'
English

Can't wait to read. It is a tricky situation where both politicians and people are happy to skip the local body layer. For example, if a MLA is in their street , people will be more than happy get MLA to fulfil their needs. If anyone tried to break this habit , I would think it would have been the people. But politicians like @ptrmadurai talking about the federalisation to the local bodies gives hope about the future
English

@nikitabier @BillyM2k that doesn't sound very AI-y. I would rather expect grok to know why i am tapping it and answer it accordingly. and at the end of the answer, show more options to cover scenarios it missed in the answer, like the three you shared
English

@BillyM2k What if it showed a tooltip when tapping it and gave you some options?
• Fact check: Is this true?
• Summarize this
• Explain like I’m five
English

@hawaalidrammeh It's not that weird. The rest of us saying thank you to chatgpt but not to coffee machine is actually bit weird. The threshold that the thing need to talk back irrespective of whether it is alive or not is funny.
