This is a stark example of the risks and consequences of early sentence commutations. While executive clemency can be a legitimate tool for addressing excessive or unjust sentences, cases like this highlight why careful review and risk assessment are essential.
Being rearrested for the same crime less than a week after release raises serious questions about both the individual’s rehabilitation and the decision making process behind the commutation.
It underscores that clemency must balance compassion with public safety and accountability and that failing to do so can quickly undermine public trust in the justice system but biden cannot be blamed for the actions of this con.

A convicted felon, whose federal prison sentence was commuted during the final days of Joe Biden’s presidency, was released from custody last month, only to be rearrested for the same crime less than a week later — this time on state charges. cnn.it/47z7vXc

@JSnyder519 @marianlealin @Angry_Staffer It's not challenging at all. Biden couldn't because they weren't available to release during f his tenure.
English

@marianlealin @Angry_Staffer Don’t ask such challenging questions.

To be clear, this should be one of the biggest scandals to ever reach the presidency.
DOJ - after illegally scrubbing Trump from the Epstein files - is retroactively removing files they missed that would be embarrassing to the President.
It’s a complete affront to Justice.
Ashley@AshleyDCan
nothing says you’re innocent like deleting Epstein files with your picture in them

Sooooo.... what happened to the folk who attacked the capital on January 6th??
Brian Allen@allenanalysis
Irony just died on live TV. Kash Patel actually said: “When you attack our nation’s Capitol, you attack the very being of our way of life. We will always refute it and combat it.” This from the same crew that pardoned 1,500 attackers and turned January 6 into a loyalty test. These are not serious people.

@fbgcon @_ZachFoster @BarackObama Which was a continued bipartisan deal before he even came into office to address threats from Iran and Lebanon.

@imapsyd @_ZachFoster @BarackObama And then he gave zionazis billions of dollars worth of weapons 😭😭😭🫵🏻

After two years of unimaginable loss and suffering for Israeli families and the people of Gaza, we should all be encouraged and relieved that an end to the conflict is within sight; that those hostages still being held will be reunited with their families; and that vital aid can start reaching those inside Gaza whose lives have been shattered. More than that, though, it now falls on Israelis and Palestinians, with the support of the U.S. and the entire world community, to begin the hard task of rebuilding Gaza – and to commit to a process that, by recognizing the common humanity and basic rights of both peoples, can achieve a lasting peace.
English

1. Israelis have families, but Palestinians apparently don't.
2. Israelis are named as Israelis, but Palestinians are just "people".
3. It's apparently a conflict, not an occupation, siege or genocide.
4. Israeli soldiers enforcing a murderous siege on Gaza are apparently hostages, not prisoners of war.
5. Bothsidesing the perpetrators and victims of a genocide.
You are toxic, Mr. Obama, one of the greatest disappointments of our generation.

@_TruthZone_ Because it wasn't a memorial service. It was a political pep rally and CK attended posthumously.

And now Martina goes from good guy to bad guy...the same people who used her as an example of righteousness will now savage her...because that's how the game is played.
Martina Navratilova@Martina
Bye cultist. I call it as I see it. I do not agree with the governor of Maine policy but trump has no business threatening her like that. Also trump is an adjudicated rapist so not exactly a defender of women- he just hates all trans people. Other than his bootlicker Jenner

@ReallyAmerican1 He also partied with Diddy, but hey... he's made of kryptonite and will get away with anything🤷🏽♀️

Never forget that when Kamala Harris was 29-years-old, she started an AFFAIR with 60-year-old Willie Brown, he was a married California house speaker, Mayor of San Francisco and one of the most powerful in California
He bought Kamala expensive gifts like a BMW and appointed her to two influential positions. He named Kamala to the California Medical Assistance Commission, a job that paid $72,000 a year and also appointed her to the state's Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, a lucrative position that put another $97,088 a year in her pockets. Brown later faced an FBI corruption investigation for handing out lucrative city contracts and appointments to friends and political allies.
Even after he dumped Kamala in 1995, he still continued to use his influence to promote her career, "I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco." - Brown
Harris was elected California's attorney general in 2010 with massive help from Willie and when she ran for United States Senate in 2016, Brown called on her likely opponent, Antonio Villaraigosa, to stay out of the race
This is why I call her Kamala Hoerris
