I asked very politely a consultant & a gaggle of junior docto who were discussing me outside my curtain if I could join in. Consultant drew back curtain & said " we don't do that!"

This example is from a large London teaching hospital.

Why can't I prescribe ice cream and milk shakes in Hospital? Its about the only food the patient with dysphagia wants and can eat. Gets presented with pureed shepherd's pie, b***** Fortisips but not ice cream & milk shakes What happens to our minds in hospital? @DrGrumble

It's a great piece of kit that allows you to fill in your relevant info in a handy document you can keep in your bag for unexpected requests(eg a&e or holidays) I know there are apps but not always a signal. Furious today that life insurance report from GP is cut and paste job detailing all PMH as ‘active problems’ as they don’t use the software properly. Despite asking for the last 3 months medication all previous meds cut and pasted yet no medication taken for over 2 years! 1/2

Absolutely this! Comment yesterday that it wasn’t as bad as expected in Kent with over 670 deaths. Reporting has become too casual

We think it’s an absolute disgrace that @MattHancock asked Dr Allin-Khan to ‘watch her tone’ when asking a very reasonable question. Especially when considering over 180 of her colleagues have died on his watch. Please RT if you do too.
