@Jason @reidhoffman @linakhanFTC Then why do you consistently carry water for the left, and can't see that a majority of their positions lead to massive inefficiencies? And attacking the right isn't an appropriate answer.

THIS CHART IS WHY EVERYONE FROM @REIDHOFFMAN TO MAGA CONSERVATIVES BELIEVE @LINAKHANFTC NEEDS TO GO SHE’S KILLING M&A & BREAKING THE VENTURE INDUSTRY. WE CAN’T KEEP INVESTING IN STARTUPS & CREATING JOBS IF THE GOVERNMENT KILLS ACQUISITIONS I’VE NEVER MET HER, BUT I BELIEVE SHE IS A COMMUNIST HIDING IN A “SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT” COSTUME — JUST LIKE @BERNIESANDERS & @SENWARREN THESE LUNATICS HAVE NEVER BUILT ANYTHING OF VALUE THEY WILL TURN AMERICA INTO CHINA OR FRANCE IF WE DON’T STOP THEM. THEY WILL DO A WEALTH TAX ON TOP OF KILLING M&A — AND THEN IT’S OVER FOR SILICON VALLEY & THE USA 🇺🇸

@antonia_mdprjct Great post, are the roof overhangs structure made of wood, steel or concrete?

3-Rear Elevation - The house opens up to a view of the mountains. All glass is protected with generous overhangs. But more importantly, the overhangs frame the exterior spaces which were designed as extensions of the indoor programming. Most of the glass facing the mountains opens up completely. The intention was to create indoor/outdoor spaces that take advantage of the dry, warm weather (when it's not snowing 😬) As it turns out, living with a lot of sunlight makes a big difference.

When we decided to build the house and that I would design and permit the house as the architect of record, I hesitated. It had been 5 years since I'd left architecture and about 10 since I'd designed a house. I wasn't sure I could do it. So, I'm updating yesterday's post to show drawings vs. (almost) finished photos with some additional notes. I can say with certainty that the concepts survived construction. And having lived in it for seven months, I can also say that some ideas have been even better in reality than in concept.

@GaryGensler @SECGov This tweet is just as bad. Is it denied, or will they provide an official ruling at another date?

The @SECGov twitter account was compromised, and an unauthorized tweet was posted. The SEC has not approved the listing and trading of spot bitcoin exchange-traded products.

@Twiceroadsfool People who are quick to judge are the worst to be around. The sad part is they never realize it is them. It's a long and negative life they live with perspective and self-awareness never being on the table.

@BretWeinstein He has become emotionally attached to an idea, and once this happens people create an "emotional mirage" where they imagine things that don't exist, convinced they are real.

Sam Harris is not a moron, which is why his absurd formulations and failure to update is so baffling. Of course he knows better, and yet his positions are fixed, and his half baked explanations play as if on a loop.

In the days of the Roman Republic, Senatorial families were oft paid patronage by foreign kings. A family which had fallen on hard times was not expensive to retain yet could yield immense returns when Rome was persuaded to intervene on the king’s behalf. zerohedge.com/political/buri…

@FrancisSuarez Let me try to translate that garbage: "Let us always remember the importance of the present and our place within it. For only by recognizing this can we hope to shape a better future for ourselves and for generations to come." Bitcoin Please?

Even if you think there is a strong case for electric cars and the end of the petrodollar, the fact is that China will control the lithium battery market due to the Taliban defeating the USA in Afghanistan. How do we reconcile that?

My latest, for @TechCrunch, is one of the most deeply personal things I’ve written in a while, maybe ever. I wrote about how the MrBeast “let’s cure blindness” video is more ableist than altruistic, and emblematic of society’s issue with people like me. techcrunch.com/2023/02/10/mrb…
