مولانا فضل الرحمان کا پاکستان کی مسلح افواج اور جوانوں کے خلاف دیا گیا بیان نہایت افسوسناک،قابل مذمت ، غیر ذمہ دارانہ اور قومی اتحاد کو نقصان پہنچانے والا ہے۔ ایسے بیانات نہ صرف لاکھوں پاکستانیوں کے جذبات مجروح کرتے ہیں بلکہ ان جوانوں کی عظیم قربانیوں کی بھی توہین ہیں جو ہر روز وطن کے دفاع کے لیے اپنی جانیں ہتھیلی پر رکھ کر دشمن کا مقابلہ کرتے ہیں۔ مولانا فضل الرحمان کو یاد رکھنا چاہیے کہ سیاسی اختلاف اپنی جگہ، مگر پاکستان کی سلامتی اور اس کے محافظوں کو سیاسی نشانہ بنانا کسی بھی ذمہ دار قومی رہنما کو زیب نہیں دیتا۔ جو فوج دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں ہزاروں شہداء کی قربانیاں دے چکی ہو، اس کے جوانوں کا تمسخر اڑانا ناقابلِ قبول، قابلِ مذمت اور قومی یکجہتی کے منافی ہے۔ اگر سیاست صرف نفرت، اشتعال انگیزی اور ریاستی اداروں کے خلاف بیانیہ کھڑا کرنے کا نام ہے تو ایسی سیاست قوم کو تقسیم کرتی ہے، مضبوط نہیں بناتی۔ پاکستان کے سپاہی اپنی تنخواہ کسی سیاسی جماعت یا شخصیت کے لیے نہیں لیتے، بلکہ وطن کے دفاع، عوام کے تحفظ اور دہشت گردی کے خاتمے کے لیے اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرتے ہیں۔ آج پوری قوم اپنے شہداء، غازیوں اور افواجِ پاکستان کے ساتھ کھڑی ہے۔ ایسے بیانات کو تاریخ کبھی عزت کی نگاہ سے نہیں دیکھے گی۔ وقت کا تقاضا ہے کہ سیاسی قیادت اختلافِ رائے کو شائستگی اور ذمہ داری کے ساتھ پیش کرے، نہ کہ ایسے الفاظ استعمال کرے جو قومی اداروں اور شہداء کی قربانیوں کی توہین کا باعث بنیں۔ پاکستان زندہ باد! پاک فوج پائندہ باد! شہداءِ وطن کو سلام!

I am honoured to announce that the historic ‘Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding’ has been electronically signed today between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The Memorandum has been signed by honourable Presidents of both the countries and also endorsed by me as the mediator. The signing of this agreement at the highest level of the respective governments demonstrates the commitment of both sides to a diplomatic resolution of the conflict. Islamabad MoU shall enter into force with immediate effect and as a first step, Islamic Republic of Iran will instantly reopen the Strait of Hormuz and the United States of America will immediately lift the naval blockade. I offer my heartfelt congratulations and sincere appreciation to the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump whose steadfast commitment to diplomacy and preference for peaceful resolution have once again helped end a conflict that could have led to devastating consequences for the region and beyond. I also commend the dedication and tireless efforts of the United States negotiating team, including J.D. Vance, Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, for their invaluable contributions to this achievement. I express my profound respect and appreciation to His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Islamic Republic of Iran and President Masoud Pezeshkian for their wisdom, foresight and statesmanship in embracing the cause of peace. I also wish to recognize the efforts of the Iranian negotiating team, including Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Abbas Araghchi and Eskandar Momeni, whose patience, perseverance and commitment to constructive engagement were instrumental in bringing this agreement to fruition. I would especially like to acknowledge the sincere efforts and constructive engagement of the leadership of the State of Qatar in helping reach this point. I congratulate President Donald Trump on his extraordinary efforts to pursue peace and for holding a very useful and productive telephone call earlier today, with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkiye, Egypt, the UAE, Jordan and Pakistan. Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir represented Pakistan in the telephone call and I greatly appreciate his tireless efforts during the entire process.The discussions provided a useful opportunity to exchange views on the current regional situation and how to move the ongoing peace efforts forward to bring lasting peace in the region.
