Besides a Raspberry Pi, are you running any ARM hardware in your homelab? I've been testing the Minisforum MS-R1 workstation, and while the hardware is cool (10GbE!), the power efficiency and performance wasn't impressive... (at least compared to x86). Is anyone running ARM servers in production at home?

@Itsfoss It’s a two fold strategy: 1. It gives them an outlet for old chips they still have plenty of. Phone chips come in one style, and that’s why you can’t upgrade the RAM on it. 2. It’s posturing a new price floor, to set the stage for price increases for more popular fall products

NGL, Apple is doing a very un-Apple thing of late. Apple has always been known for premium devices that come with a premium price tag. That seems to be changing lately. The Mac Mini M4, priced at $499, is a good value for money device. Then we have the iPhone E series which are inexpensive iPhones. And now, Apple has launched Macbook Neo with a price tag of $599. Are they trying to capture a wider userbase with these relatively inexpensive models? Because these devices sure lower the barrier to enter the Apple ecosystem.
