@EricAlar11 Thank you so much! I just looked at your profile and those two videos look like the start of a rabbit hole i'd very much like to dive in.

Brothers and sisters, I would love to invite you to our congregation. In my #vibejam entry you sing a Renaissance motet in a virtual choir. The game has local multiplayer - you pair up to 4 phones to a single computer and sing together!

@ivanibash I think 2nd look a bit less modern and doesn't mix up with the thin lines of the staff that much

This is great man. Wonderful style too. One thought - since the pieces are non-conventional shapes, it's hard to tell by just looking at a figure whether it moves like a knight, a bishop, etc. I need to click on each to find out. Wonder if there is a way to make it more obvious. Would maybe allow for more strategic thinking.

After ~3 weeks of sleepless nights, I'm finally able to share my game for @levelsio's 2026 #vibejam I've built small games before, but the speed that current AI tools like @tripoai and @Scenario_gg enable is mind-blowing Can't wait to do it again next year!

hey @karpathy i think we need a new term: Chill Coding. It's vibe coding just one app at a time, and youtube or netflix is on.

@ivanibash No problem! I usually use these models: - Opus and GPT 5.5 for planning - Composer 2 for day to day tasks - Gemini 3.1 pro for graphics related tasks

@DannyLimanseta hey sorry you probably got this asked a lot already, but what model were you using out of curiosity? And once again amazing job, it's a beautiful game.

I changed the way I prompt when vibecoding Tiny Skies. Instead of telling the AI model how to do or implement something the way I want, I describe what I want the end result to look like. This leaves room for the AI model to choose its own approach, you get results it's actually optimised and trained for, which almost always means better output. This mirrors the usual team management 101 playbook: when briefing a team member, don't prescribe the method and let them figure out the best way to achieve the goal. As AI gets meaningfully better at coding in the recent months, I've stopped micromanaging the implementation and started focusing on the outcome I'm after. The latest frontier models have earned a longer leash and many times I have been surprised at how good it is.

After almost 4 weeks of dev, I've submitted Tiny Skies to #vibejam. I've never launched a multiplayer game before, so I'm a little nervous! Tiny Skies is a cosy little game you can pick up and play whenever you have a few minutes. It's a pretty chill and relaxing game where you can fly around and do stuff like: - play casual capture the flag with other players - shoot paintballs at each other (and at gremlins!) - make package deliveries - race in mini races - catch some fish - drift on a magic carpet - collect jellyfish friends - visit the landmarks of the world as a Capybara - unlock all vehicle options: biplane, magic carpet, or fishing boat (unlockable via multiple playthroughs) - or if you're up for it, figure out how to save the world from impending doom I hope you'll enjoy flying (and boating) around the world and soaking in the vibes! Day 102 #BuildInPublic Now with Eagle Vision 🦅 Today I designed the game world and landmarks to ensure a consistent gameplay experience regardless of the seed. Cities are increasingly denser and taller, separated by heavily guarded bridges (but there’s always at least one stealth route). Everything else is generated on-the-fly each time, ensuring a unique experience #vibejam #gamedev

Day 100 #BuildInPublic Working on Sunset City parkour system. Taking inspiration from Assassin's Creed, I opted for a finite-state automata. Each handhold has one or more positions, or nodes (🟡 in video). Each NODE connects to its neighbors in specific directions, creating a GRAPH. On certain 🟡 (e.g., balconies), you can press Space (AKA jump) to pull yourself up or “C” (AKA crouch) to drop down. “E” grabs, even in free fall. There’s still work to be done, but I’ve already significantly reduced the number of times the 🎥 goes through a wall. Most importantly, it makes parkour easier. Almost like walking on the wall 😄 #vibejam #gamedev
