See how quickly antigunners toss aside the GVA numbers when it suits them? When they want to say there are hundreds of mass shootings a year, they use GVA numbers, which are inflated by gang-related shootings. When they want to call for AR15 bans, they rely on far more rare incidents, like what Mother Jones or the Violence Project define a mass shooting as.
