Our administrative burden has actually *improved* over the last 25 years. Yes, you have to write a lot of words and click boxes in the EMR. What you’re not doing? Standing in line at the file room to get an x-ray. Scouring the ward for the chart that the physical therapist has.

The entire conversation on robotic surgery is too polarizing… the critics don’t use the 🤖at all and the supporters feel like it needs to be used for everything IMO there needs to be more robot ‘centrists’ out there who will say it’s good for some things and not others.

They still need to identify as Trauma surgeons, because you can’t get general surgeons interested in the rest of the work (GLF, etc).

The entire field of #AcuteCareSurgery is understaffed. Thanks @pbatesmurphy for your insightful data at #EAST2025. We are at a critical crossroads. We need to change our staffing four our patients, and for our own wellness.

The flaw in the Belichick hire logic overlooks how fundamentally altered college sports is due to the Portal & NIL. Unless you've covered these teams directly, it hard to articulate how different it is on campus. Young adults with money and options want to be coached differently
