i was going for a run, and when i was walking out of my apartment, i randomly saw somebody who had their laptop open to google docs. it's very weird for someone at this cafe to have a laptop open to google docs. Cursor is infinitely more common, so i was curious to get a quick peek at their screen. in the top left hand corner, i saw that they had a title for the document called "YC application". i myself am a yc founder, so i thought, you know what, fuck it, why don't we do a live review? so we did for about 15 minutes, i was outside of the cafe telling them what to change to make their application better, and we had a great chat. it was the highlight of my weekend being back in sf. sometimes you really can only have these experiences by being in the technology capital of the world. it is truly a pleasure and privilege that i get to live here. good luck on yc guys!!!

Went to a funeral today. The deceased was only 20. Everyone was laser focused on him and crying, but not me. At the reception, I saw a bowl of mints. Everyone was too sad to notice this passive income opportunity. I went back and took them. Not all at once. I took one every 7 minutes. Guy next to me asked if I knew the deceased? I told him not personally, but I respect what he left behind. I left with all the mints and sold them all to a group of drunk swingers outside a Buffalo Wild Wings for $340. The lesson?
