Rockets were up 6 with 27 seconds left and lost in a must win game. Kevin Durant was healthy all year and missed game one for a bruised knee and game 3 for a sprained ankle. Fitting way to end the year. They had 10+ of the worst losses imaginable and ended on the worst one yet. Colossal failure on a rebuild on infinitive levels. Ime Udoka is a disaster. Nearly every young guy has a major flaw and they don’t mesh together. Blow this thing up to smithereens and start over. Good riddance to one of the biggest jokes of a season I’ve ever seen.

Good lord the @rockets are a poverty franchise. Just awful. All of it. Coaching, Players, GM all of it, just trash.

Positions the Texans could address today depend heavily on the board and positional depth, so it’s tough to rank them: DT (3-tech) DE3 TE (in-line Y with blocking ability + receiving upside) CB3 / coverage nickel (especially with concern around Jaylin Smith’s knee) At tackle, Travis Burke is really the only true option I’d target, and he could go late Round 3 or early Round 4. You could also make a case for some tackle/guard hybrids like Gennings Dunker depending on how the board falls.

@BrettKollmann The last time they had a good interior o-line their RG played a playoff game on a broken leg. The guys they have now seem like those type of dudes.

@TexansCommenter @RalphVacchiano Stressan. We have more pressing contracts to work out than adding 30m a year and giving up a first and second round pick to do so. Rather keep the picks, draft a DL with one of them and extend WAJ.

@TexansCap Wouldn't that equate to less overall cap available to sign players? It would be like a mix between the current system and the old one where rookies were signed as exclusive FA's. Less money to sign to vets since the rookies aren't on their rookie deals as long.
