As we expected Halpin will join the Guardians. Limited at bat role so added a guy who can handle 3 spots, bring speed and defense to the team.

@king0fCLE Im honestly confused as to how the ORTG this series has been so high with him on the court. The eye test says he kills possessions dribbling to a ball handler bc he has zero offensive aggression getting the ball after one of Mitch/Harden are trapped.

it boggles my mind how much of a margin of error toronto gave us and we still didnt manage to capitalize. 32% from the field and 13% from 3 and we still couldnt win. inexcusable loss that should be franchise altering regardless of what happens for the rest of the series

@general_prop @EdGreenberger @James_wDrake He was not good on offense at all. He also anchored a defense that only allowed 93 points on 32% shooting. He can’t completely cover up a roster full of mediocre to below average defenders.

@general_prop @EdGreenberger @James_wDrake As if defense is purely 1 on 1 matchups (which he has been good at). He’s elite as a help defender and great for his size on the perimeter. He’s a center, not a wing on ball defender. Crazy I have to sell his defense to anybody.

People that have followed me for a while know that I have one non-negotiable with player on my team: Effort. I’m hard on Harden because the effort has not been there and most of his turnovers were completely avoidable with an ounce of focus.

@realcavsfans Was kinda why it was always a 5 or 6 game series. A team like Toronto is going to come out swinging with a home crowd and get at least one game.

The most disappointing part of the loss was not the shooting or the defense or the turnovers. It was the Raptors coming out with a sense of urgency the Cavs never seemed to match.

I’m not changing anything I’m doing defensively if I’m the Cavs. Ingram can take as many contested midrange jumpers as he wants. Barnes falling in love with the 3 would be a win imo

Yes. My first three were Kurtz, Condon, Caglione, Bazzana. I felt the team needed power-and a quality first basemen. I would have taken one of the three I graded before Bazzana. Bazzana is a nice middle-infielder. Not a star.
