FACT CHECK: Yoel Israel's claim is false. His statement—"If it wasn't for Israel, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre would have been ransacked and converted into a mosque"—lacks historical support.
The church has remained a Christian site for nearly 1,700 years, including over 1,300 years under Muslim rule (from the 7th century onward, with brief interruptions like the Crusader period), and was never converted into a mosque despite long periods of Islamic governance.

@KemiBadenoch, I filled up my car today - I paid 149.9p per litre thanks to the war you backed.
A month ago I was paying 130.7p
But, back in 2022, when you were in power, I was paying over 180p a litre and then, you didn't even consider removing VAT from fuel.
You didn't then because you knew it would devastate the UK treasury.
You're advocating it now for the same reason.
