Uber is going to be bought by Google/Waymo, Amazon or Tesla/SpaceX in the next year.
For a “buy it now” price of $250b, one of those three companies gets a $12b a year free cash flow machine with $70b in revenue — and hundreds of millions of global customers
This is the most obvious M&A deal since Instagram, Android and YouTube transformed Meta and Google

Absolutely incredible.
Xi Jinping, while giving a toast to President Trump, is literally talking about making America great again.
“This year is also the 250th anniversary of American independence. The over 300 American people are reinvigorating the spirit of patriotism, innovation & enterprise and ushering in a new journey for the development of the United States.
The people of China and the U.S. are both great peoples. Achieving the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN can go hand in hand. We can help each other succeed and advance the well being of the whole world.”
Only President Trump could pull this off. We are witnessing history in the making 🇺🇸

There a lot of people who have suddenly gotten incredibly rich from the run up we have seen in old semi and memory stocks
Have a friend whose dad was a former Western Digital employee and received a ton of stock from back in the day
Through the entire run up, my friend kept trying to convince his dad to sell the shares and take profit
Out of pure loyalty to the company, he refused to sell. He held it all right through the Sandisk spin out and never sold a share of that either
Just on those two stocks alone, he is up nearly $3M over the last year or so

There are very few true luxury experiences anymore. Most are just hyper-commoditized slop in an uncanny wrapper. Lounges, clubs, restaurants, hotels, travel. Its all one big racket. The only reason these exist is because the most insecure person you know still buys into the fake status these services conjure.
Cheap and authentic is better than faux luxury.
