That number was invented in 1938 by a mattress company called Simmons Beautyrest. Before that campaign, the average human slept in two shifts. Historians call it “Biphasic Sleep.” You would sleep for 4 hours, wake up for 2, then sleep for another 4. During that 2-hour window, people would pray, have s*x, write, think, and connect with their families. Some of the greatest works in human history were created in that sacred middle window. Shakespeare wrote most of his plays between 1AM and 3AM during his second wake period. Mozart composed entire symphonies in what he called “The God Hours.” Then the Industrial Revolution needed workers on a fixed schedule. You cannot run a factory on biphasic sleep. So they hired a psychologist named Dr. Nathaniel Kleitman to “prove” that 8 consecutive hours was the biological standard. He faked the studies. He was funded entirely by the mattress industry. And the medical establishment adopted his research without question because it aligned with the factory model. They turned the most creative 2 hours of human consciousness into a “sleep disorder.” They called it “Insomnia.” They medicated it. They gaslight an entire generation that 8 hours of continuous sleep was healthy. They pathologized the exact window of consciousness that produced some of the greatest art, music, and literature in human history. You are not an insomniac. You are experiencing the most natural form of human consciousness. And a mattress company convinced you it was a disease. Stop medicating your genius. Wake up at 2AM. Write the thing. Dimon's view on taxes is correct. The core problem is one of governance. Our country's leadership doesn't spend money effectively. There's massive inefficiency and a significant amount of graft that feeds powerful lobbying interests. The more effective alternative to raising taxes would be cutting spending. There's an enormous amount of bloat in the budget.

What if I told you that if you look at birth and death records starting in 1990 from only Americans discounting all immigrants including anchor babies that the US population would be 260 million right now? We would have added roughly 30 million people the last 40 years, instead? 100 million and that's only the legals.

Everyone needs to understand that the reason everything is so corrupt and people stay silent on the corruption is because of the government jobs. As the government grows, safe, pensioned, fully-insured jobs grow. People in those jobs reliably vote to increase the size and scope of government programs because, hey, more awesome, unaccountable, well-paying jobs! They are all unionized, so not only does the state get the votes, it gets millions of dollars to market (aggressively) expanding government to normies. The purpose of the government job then effectively ceases to be educating kids or helping the sick, etc., and becomes expanding services because expanding services means increasing six-figure, six hour a day, pensioned jobs. Service actually worsens the more money is thrown at it because the jobs get further and further away from the purported mission of the state agency. You don’t have to look any further than your public schools to see this in action, especially in a state like California where the number of state employees j creased by 24.5% while the population increased by only 0.4%. The only good news here is that failure is baked into the cake here. The bad news? That failure comes with a lot of fallout for anyone who remains in the state.

Every voter in America should be aware of this - In 2023, 9% of all births in the United States were to illegal mothers - 75% of illegal immigrant households with children are using at least 1 major federal welfare program, with the citizen child serving as the eligibility hook - There are 1.5 million Chinese anchor babies that are living in China that can vote in our elections and are eligible for our welfare systems despite never having lived in the United States of America “Does that seem fair to you? Someone can just break our laws, enter into our country illegally, give birth, and then receive welfare — $150 billion annually is what it's costing the taxpayer. That seems like an abuse of our 14th amendment” “That's a huge problem. That's an abuse of our system. The United States of America is not for the entire world, it's for the United States of America. We are not a country if you can just come in, give birth on our soil, and then become a citizen through some type of loophole.”
