Architectural visualization lands in the browser. 🏢 3D Gaussian Splatting tech by @playcanvas streams vast photoreal spaces on the web - lightweight data with auto-generated collision. Capturing real-world spaces and putting them online has never been easier. SuperSplat link 👇

@cursor_ai Rewrite sqlite in rust? wtf is wrong with you? one of the best written pieces of software on the internet and you feel a need to fuck it up. the rust community is like watching a bunch of retarded apes eat each others shit thinking it chocolate.

We had a team of agents rebuild SQLite from its 835-page manual. It created a replica in Rust which passed 100% of a held-out test suite. Interestingly, cost varied 15x depending on which model mix we used.

I don't add bananas to my smoothies. Why? Not because bananas are bad (I love bananas). They contain polyphenol oxidase, an enzyme that can break down polyphenols. And studies suggest that when you add banana to a blueberry smoothie, you may absorb fewer of the beneficial polyphenols from the berries! So instead, I use avocado. It gives the smoothie the same creamy texture with the bonus of monounsaturated fat in avocado, which can increase absorption of carotenoids like lutein and zeaxanthin from kale - nutrients important for eye and brain health. I talked about this recently on my appearance on The Mel Robbins Podcast.

For twenty years, "reversing aging" meant a conference slide and a mouse study, and then on 9 June 2026, a company put a partial-reprogramming therapy into a living person for the first time, so here is the race, ranked by closeness to a dosed human: 1. ER-100 (@lifebiosciences). A virus carries OSK, three of the four Yamanaka factors, into the retina, and eight weeks of doxycycline switch them on, winding a cell's age markers backward without erasing what the cell is. Same factors restored sight in old mouse eyes in 2020, @davidasinclair's lab. Phase 1, 18 people, glaucoma and optic-nerve stroke. Safety only, no efficacy yet. 2. NewLimit (@brian_armstrong). Not yet in anyone. In lab-grown human liver, its candidate pushed old cells toward a younger gene pattern, no damage at high doses. Company-reported. Trial guided 2027. 3. TRN-001 (@turn_bio). Skin, still in a dish. Rolled back human skin cells' aging signature by a decade. Company-reported. Cleared FDA pre-IND, hasn't dosed. 4. SB000 (@ShiftBioscience). Flips one gene instead of all four. A preprint reports it matched or beat the full set on aging clocks, without switching on the pluripotency that makes reprogramming risky. It won't say which gene, which drew doubt. @RetroBio_ is dosing people, but with an autophagy drug, not reprogramming. @altos_labs raised $3 billion and has nobody dosed. Nobody has reversed aging in a person. The fourth Yamanaka factor is a cancer gene. Switch all four on in a mouse and leave them on, and it's dead inside four days, but leave that fourth one out and the same mouse carries the other three for eighteen months with no extra tumours. That gap is why a person was allowed to try this.

NVIDIA just dropped another revolution in AI animation — real-time and open source. It's called ARDY. You type what the character should do — and it just does it. While moving. Change the text mid-walk, click a waypoint, add keyframes — it re-plans instantly. No baking, no waiting. And this time they dropped EVERYTHING at once: code, weights, working demo. Fully ready to run locally. I tested it. Honestly — shock. Feels like Kimodo × MotionBricks: that amount of control (text + constraints + trajectories), but live. And it fits in 20–24GB of VRAM. I didn't expect animation to move this fast — I thought 3D would get solved first. It's robotics pushing it: the same model drives their humanoid robots.
