Prabha che wade! The filling is spiced mashed potatoes without turmeric and the covering is thin. I've heard people complaining about no chutney or pav. I always quote the owners - आमच्या वड्यांबरोबत चटणी किंवा पाव लागत नाही. Sabudana Wadas, Wada Sample & Misal are excellent too.

In 1940 Saraswati Paranjpe started Prabha as a homely snack centre. Located opp Kesari Wada in Narayan Peth, Prabha is now run by her grandson Uday Paranjpe and his son Ketan Paranjpe.
Timings 8:30 AM-12 PM & 4:30-7:30 PM. Items get over fast. Best time to go is in the morning!

@amp1066_ani Ah okay. I personally love the white filling for batate wade. No halad and almost no fodni. We make the same way at home. But like I always say, taste is personal and subjective. No one place is better than the other. :-)

Having read your post sometime back about Bhat's dadpe pohe on kumthekar Rd, went there 2-3 days back to try it, unfortunately dadpe pohe were over by the time i got there, so tried their batawada, honestly didn't much like as the filling was made from upwas batata bhaji. That's the first time I ate batawada like that. But thanks for suggesting, will go sometime early morning to try the pohe

Raja Ices in Sadashiv Peth is one of the oldest ice cream shops in Pune. The only place that makes Lemongrass Ice cream. Pink Guava with chilli powder is excellent. You can tke your own ingredients and they'll make ice cream. Check the instructions manual detailing the process!

This unnamed kiosk on Kumthekar Road, run by the Bhat family is now called "भटांचे पोहे". The Dadpe Pohe is absolutely delicious and very similar to what we make at home. Perfectly moist, with lots of coconut, coriander and sugar. Also do try the dahi wada and appe

@archanasoak @Ifucan15 Naralachya panyat bhijavne is not a norm. We do it with multiple things - taak, kislelya kakdicha pani, naralacha doodh. Every family's recipe is different. Of course if you don't like what they serve is absolutely okay. But that doesn't mean what they serve isn't Dadpe Pohe!
