@PankajBansal128 @sushantv94 Straight answer: mould, plastics and PCB are custom-built in-house in India, and the whole unit's assembled here. Motor, OLED and AQI sensor come from large global suppliers most brands use. Fully made in India from 2027. BTS at labs.jbair.com :)

@sushantv94 How about give details about how much of the stuff is Indian and how much of it is imported. Is it mainly design that’s the differentiator or there’s more.

@sushantv94 When would shipping start? Also make it DIY serviceable. Follow the Aquaguard AMC type model where for a fixed value you send all replaceables yearly twice that way you stay in your own platform, have subscription model & stay out of Ecom ecosystem

@sushantv94 Just placed my order for both air 400 and air 800. Currently using a home built CR air box with 7 pc fans and 2x 3m filters 25x20x1. Excited to try your products. Hope you have cracked the code for cheap replacement filters else this will be expensive furniture.

@N80rious @sushantv94 Yep — buttons on the side handle it. You can turn off both the display and the ambient light strip, so it goes fully dark for sleep. Auto by day, quiet (and dark) by night :)

@vkrant @sushantv94 Yep — pull the filter out and vacuum the inners, or run a vacuum over the top grill on high. The pre-filter's part of the filter stack and comes out with it, so cleaning's a 30-second job. Good as day 1 after :)

@sushantv94 Design and cost wise it is good but is the external body easily cleanable? I have a coway purifier that has a pull out pre filter which is very convenient to clean.

@TheWierdIndian @sushantv94 Noted! Smaller-room and adjacent products are on the board. For now the Air 400 covers up to 400 sq ft, so a 150 sq ft cabin's comfortably within range :)

@saidurga396 @sushantv94 Thanks! Built for exactly those days — 200 m³/h clears a 400 sq ft room in ~26 mins even when the outside AQI's ugly, and HEPA 13 catches 99.97% down to 0.3 micron. On auto it ramps itself up as the air gets worse :) International lab results going up shortly!

@sushantv94 Seems very cool..! Especially the filter cost. How well this purifiers works in Delhi's peak pollution, did you guys did any tests.

@TheOGHemantS @sushantv94 Thanks Hemant! Short version: bigger filter (1091 cm²), bigger motor (42W BLDC) = more clean air per minute, and a ₹495 filter vs the usual ₹2,500–3,000. Assembled here, so better value. Full comparison on jbair.com :)
