3. Conversation 3: The money conversation. What does four years actually cost? What is the athletic money? What is the academic money? What is the gap? Who is covering it? Baseball is a partial-scholarship sport at the D1 level. Most families do not understand what that actually means until they see the bill in July of senior year. Have this conversation in writing before commitment.

Think about what a petulant child and loser you have to be if you are an administrator at a school so butt hurt a kid is transferring that you challenge it to try to block him/her from playing. Grow up, No. 1 and No. 2 get over yourself. It is HS sports, it ain’t that serious

@MGenestGOLF I’m a 5.2 and can shoot 73 or 88, but most always play the back tees. It’s golf and we are all human. One round I shot a smooth 48-33 for the 81…

Any 7-10 Handicaps live with this? The ability to shoot 76 or 91. Also the ability (or lack there of) to go 46 / 37 for 18 holes. I have no idea what clicked in other than the clouds came and it got cooler (I walk). ⛳️

Parent wants his kid to play for my 14u team, but says we don’t do enough national trips. I said we really don’t need to at this age. He said we have too so the D1 Coaches can see him & he can get an NIL deal. I tried to educate him, but wasn’t going well. I wished him luck.

Sawgrass does a really cool thing. Gives you a bag tag at the beginning of the round and then after allows you to get your name engraved and what you got on 17 engraved on the island. I thought it was a really cool touch. Do any of the other big public places do stuff like this?
