After taking oath as Aringa South County MP, Yorke Alioni who has expressed interest in contesting as Speaker assured journalists that his eyes are now set on taking oath as Speaker of the 12th Parliament and vowed to fight corruption at Parliament, saying his resolved was strengthened by President Museveni’s commitment to fight corruption and further amplified by Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the leader of Patriotic League of Uganda. “Within a few days, I will come in for my second swearing-in as the Speaker of the 12th Parliament of Uganda. And the struggle against corruption is still on, I have not given up, and I am very grateful the President is now fully behind my struggle.
