Stop complaining about US Soccer being pay to play and start complaining about why we have such crap coaching when it’s pay to play! I am done with “dad” ball experts who have read one book and are promising to get kids to D1. Every kid looks like Zoolander and can’t turn left.

ESPN is reporting that U.S. Soccer will evaluate and potentially overhaul NCAA College Soccer. The committee will be chaired by Dan Helfrich, principal at Deloitte Consulting and part of U.S. Soccer's advisory group. No conflict there. @Don_K_Williams!! espn.com/soccer/story/_…

@GenSoccerCLT @Don_K_Williams College soccer doesn't develop any talent, because the kids have already been through the us "development" circus by then. The point is hiring a consultant from a think tank to fix college soccer will most likely make it far worse than it is.

@gianlucar73 @ImCollegeSoccer I just saw this at an ECNL practice my daughter was attending. Terrible soccer, but it was very fast. The coach said to not worry about possession, just score. At one point it was like watching a tennis match with long balls just going back and forth to no one particular.

@ImCollegeSoccer Instead what we often see is embarrassing: boy and girls randomly kicking the ball with no purpose. Chaos on the field and yet the fastest kids are rewarded. What about vision? Game IQ? Positional awareness? The ability to adapt to what's happening on the field?👇

@THEChrisKessell @ussoccer Why does @ussoccer constantly focus on the men’s side, when the women’s side is far more competitive around the world? This helps no one except a few people’s pocket books. First point is maximize revenue…they aren’t even make trying to hide it by making number 3.

I was passed the full @ussoccer proposal slide show for the US Soccer and NCAA soccer partnership/professionalization model. I have included it here I would love to hear your opinions on this.
