Just a reminder that the PAC-12 would still be P5 if they expanded prior to the grace period. They a calendar year to rebuild and they took 3.

@Yader16149876 @Pac12Central You have to look at all the dominoes. If TCU and Houston go to the Pac, the Big 12 would have been destabilized and at least two more Big 12 teams would have come. Most likely Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. Then no way the Big 12 jumps the Pac on the TV deal. #MissedOpportunity

@jdhouston2000 @Pac12Central Not really. It all came down to fumbling the media deal negotiations with ESPN, letting the Big 12 take that deal, and Oregon/Washington not wanting to take the Apple deal so they jumped. TCU/UH weren't paying $50+M to leave for a worse tv deal.
