I'm building a <$5k wheeled humanoid. progress this week: - designed 3 wheel holonomic drive and ordered sheet metal parts within 48 hours - same day redesign and order for sheet metal, belt driven so101 - set prelim actuation points for tendon driven arm that uses Dyneema DM20 (hopefully zero creep), almost 4 DOF actuation at or proximal to shoulder adduction - calculated almost 8x payload at rated actuator torque (omitted added transmission weight though)

@jedhoo A capable wheeled humanoid for under $5k being designed and iterated in real time on X is wild. The fact that the arm ratio is nearly 8x payload is the kind of spec that used to cost 100x. Democratization of robotics is happening fast. Following closely.
