@farzyness Been in Texas 11 years. I live smack dab in the middle(near temple) and I won’t move back to my home state. Miss there but love Texas more. Spend tons of time in SA because oldest is there for college and love Austin. Definitely prefer south over north.

After living in Austin metro for the last 5 years, I can attest that this area of the country is AWESOME. But two HUGE drawbacks: The growth is CRAZY, which means that regions will get disrupted very quickly. Where you end up living might look completely different in 3 years. And the summers are SUPER hot.

@chrisharris904 Unfortunately there is no respect for the laws like this because 9 times out of 10 they aren’t enforced. It’s extremely common for this stuff everywhere now. Live in temple and happens all the time.

I get it, deer can be a hazard in the road. But in Austin, humans are the hazard in the road. Oh, and try not to get charged with deadly conduct because you almost hit someone doing something like this (which has happened).
