Being a former MLB high level athlete and now training and helping the next generation, I’ve noticed a large majority of kids today in the USA do not like being pushed to their limit. They want to make it to the MLB without doing the mental and physical work. I’ve lost a lot of clients, because I train people too hard and hold them accountable which people hate. Unfortunately there is only one way to be the top .1% in sports. My trainer back in the day… would text me at at 11pm and say you need to go run another 2 miles or I’m going to kick you out of my gym. (He monitored my heart rate through whoop) so he knew I was slacking. The point being is… There are trainers that babysit and collect a check and trainers that actually want the best for your son or daughter.

Fifty leaders. In one night. By bombing. Remarkable. The US has been killing "senior leaders" in the Middle East by airstrike for 25 years and somehow there are always 50 more ready the next morning. Almost like bombing a country does not actually decapitate its leadership structure.

The Iran war won't last forever. I give it a few more weeks of bombing at best. Trump is not going to invade with American soldiers. The Conservatives are mostly fine with an air bombing campaign, but nobody except Lindsey Graham wants a full invasion. Most military targets are already destroyed. The economy of Iran is wrecked for years to come. Critical bridges, electric grid infrastructure, steel factories .. will take years to rebuild. The leadership is decimated. 99% of the top 300 leaders (religious and military) are dead. The bombing campaign is running out of useful targets. They have all been hit at this point. Trump could stop the active bombing, but continue to maintain the air dominance with US planes controlling the air space, denying Iran any flights. Wait and see what develops with the new leadership of Iran. There will be a power struggle in Iran as the mid level leaders come out of hiding. It remains to be seen what the policies of the new leaders will be. That is really the only path forward. We don't want to invade and occupy Iran. At some point we have to sit back and see what forms in the new Iran.

@jel_dr It takes forever to find it with the naked eye but unfortunately it’s there. It’s a 5 and always a 5. Was a high grade BGS copy I cracked trying to grade. They missed the wrinkle. PSA caught it. Cracked again to get signed.

I see tons of posts saying PSA is a scam based on low grades in photos. What people don't realize is it is so hard to see surface issues. This is a Mint 5. It has a surface wrinkle that is tiny but an automatic 5. They don't always get it right obviously but when you see what appears to be a way off grade it is a surface issue and as much as you wish it wasn't there it is.

This is one of the worst pro baseball takes I’ve heard (read) on X. Baseball is more talented than ever, however their skill level is lower than before the 90s 90s - 2005 is probably the highest skill level players ever.

"99% of top 300 leaders are dead" is doing a LOT of work here with zero verification. Iran has ~500,000 active military personnel and a Basij reserve of 300,000+. you dont bomb your way through that in a few weeks. also iran survived 8 years of full-scale war with Iraq in the 80s while being sanctioned by half the world. they know how to bury leadership, wait it out, and reemerge. "running out of targets" is exactly what they want you to think
