We haven’t even touched the surface when it comes to helping people with disabilities. Even ones that aren’t as serious as having no arms or legs. Just the fact that I can use ASS to get the car to me is a big deal. I have back pain and heart issues and walking is just not easy. Once banish comes I will never have to walk to or from the car again I just can’t wait. There are millions and millions of people worldwide that have some kind of issue or mobility is a problem. Only Tesla is even doing anything remotely close to being able to help these people with a better and normal life. Thank you.

Honda is in serious trouble. I wrote a few weeks back about how the EV market is quietly splitting in two, and Honda landed squarely on the wrong side of that divide. They were never really committed to EVs in a meaningful way, and that hesitation is starting to catch up with them fast.

Honda is reportedly delaying five next-generation models for multiple years because it lost so much money on EVs (-$15.7B). These vehicle redesigns have been delayed: • Honda Odyssey (current design came out in 2017): Delayed to 2030 • Honda Accord: Delayed to 2030 • Honda HR-V: Delayed to 2032 • Acura MDX: Delayed to 2031 • Acura Integra: Delayed to 2032 Honda reportedly weighed cutting the Odyssey from its lineup for a brief period until the new hybridized model arrived, but decided against it to prevent customers from migrating to other brands. Honda is cancelling the Prologue EV in the US at the end of this year, just two years after it was introduced, which means that starting in January 2027, Honda will no longer have any new EVs for sale in its lineup in America. The company also recently announced that it is exiting the South Korean car business after 23 years because it can't figure out how to compete there. Tough times for Honda.

Don’t forget the MAINTENANCE. Not one of these types of “comparisons” EVER mention the thousands of dollars that will be spent on keeping a $22k used gas work truck running. It’s like they magically run forever at that price. I won’t even begin to talk about the pollution. This just shows how shallow thinking dominates a very thoughtful issue. There is always more to it than a simple, “yeah but what about” response! Life isn’t a Polaroid. It’s a movie. Let’s see the whole picture!

So you’re comparing a used 2018 to a new 2026 car? That’s an unfair comparison. I don’t disagree that an EV is going to be more expensive but you can find used for cheaper. I found a work truck for you. Of course there are even cheaper options if you’re looking outside of a truck.

Last February I had to buy a new work truck. A used 2018 gas powered with low mileage was $22k. A new EV was $90k. Gas ain't THAT expensive.

Volkswagen now owns 15.9% of Rivian after the latest share purchase. Worth remembering this deal is about software and electrical architecture, not Rivian's motors, batteries, or chassis. Those stay home.

5 things you only realise AFTER going ELECTRIC…
1) You don’t miss petrol stations. You just stop thinking about them completely.
2) Quiet becomes normal and loud engines start to sound unnecessary, especially on shit cars.
3) Charging is nothing like refuelling. It happens while the car is parked.
4) It’s simpler than any other type of car. Once it clicks you never look back.
5) Anti EV loons haven’t finished reading this and are already typing stupid comments.

320+ miles on that 100%, too. Even at 30mpg, that’s four times cheaper than gasoline here in FL.

Brainiacs like this ALWAYS fail to mention the TONS of cobalt consumed while refining petroleum. At least cobalt in a battery can be recycled.
Bottom line—if you think it’s necessary to burn petroleum to move your wheels, I question your ability to “think” at all!

A former fossil fuel employee is still facing backlash, after airing multiple lies regarding the renewables industry.
Liam Bartlett claimed that “almost all battery storage in the world contained cobalt”, with battery experts around the world calling him out, stating that around 90% are actually cobalt FREE.
He also claimed that Tesla batteries all contain cobalt, while Tesla hasn’t used cobalt in a big battery since 2021.
He claimed that cobalt was used at the Clements Gap battery storage facility in South Australia, while a spokesperson for the facility said publicly that “cobalt is not used at Clements Gap BESS”.
The unfortunate truth is that the lies have already been spread, I have already seen people blindly repeating them, and they will not see or believe the truth despite the evidence.
This is the world we live in now.
