@albertaNDP Nope, Canada will pay the price. I think Canada would be wise to call in the Military and remove the traitors from Alberta. This is not just provincial.

@Steve101Actual @Ab51_Project A while back I was told Alberta is like Texas but in the north. They were trying to insult me. I politely said that was the best compliment I heard and we do love the same things. Beef. Oil , guns, and our horses. They didn't even know how to respond to me.

Claim: Alberta can separate and simply keep full control of its natural resources under the 1930 NRTA. Problem: That’s not how Canadian constitutional law works. The NRTA is part of the Constitution, not a simple contract Alberta can carry with it. It’s an agreement with Canada. If Alberta leaves, that constitutional framework doesn’t just follow it out the door. The Supreme Court has already said in the Secession Reference: separation triggers negotiations over everything—including land, resources, and rights. The “oil is ours” claim is bullshit. It would ALL be part of negotiations, and you can be damn sure Canada isn’t gonna hand everything over 🤣

@ABDanielleSmith you might wanna correct your statement: The people who "built" Alberta before it became a province in 1905 were primarily Indigenous nations, followed by European fur traders, explorers, Métis communities, missionaries, police, and early settlers. Alberta (as part of the North-West Territories after 1870) developed gradually from Indigenous homelands through the fur trade era into a settler society.
