Democrats are NOT “fighting for health care.”
They CREATED the (UN)Affordable Care Act — which has made costs SKYROCKET. Now, they want to subsidize insurance companies with even MORE taxpayer money to hide their policy failures.
Republicans are actually making health care more affordable — ending waste, fraud, and abuse, protecting care for seniors, the disabled, and pregnant women, and saving taxpayers BILLIONS.
If the media were honest, that would be in every story they write.

I just reviewed footage from Jan 6th. There was Antifa in the crowd, just like I and many others, always said.
Eye witnesses in the crowd were literally calling them out.
The @FBI has all the cell phone data and more and @FBIDirectorKash should match it with known Antifa members through arrest records from the BLM “summer of love”, Portland, and other riots.
If they could track down MAGA grandmas, they can track down Antifa members who incited the violence.

No kidding, the ACA is the problem, it has been since Obama lied to America and forced this pile of shit on us.
Insurance was affordable, and many options available before ACA. The only damn thing government had to address was “how can we address the minority of uninsured citizens”? And the answer was NEVER the government.
Whether subsidies are are funding the person or the insurance company is is really one and the same, it’s higher premiums for citizens, and higher taxes for most to pay.
The solution starts with bringing costs down period.

Health Insurance is a scam and is failing everyone while the insurance companies make huge profits.
They get paid directly from the government, on the front end, for every person.
Democrats created this problem in 2010, made it worse in 2021, and Republicans have never fixed it.

I’m really sick of hearing this - the government is not subsidizing people. They’re subsidizing insurance companies. The American people are paying thousands upon thousands of dollars for a product that is - for all intents and purposes - useless. United Healthcare, whose revenue is about ~50% dependent upon government subsidies, denies ~33% of claims (2023 data). Aetna denies ~29% of claims (2023 data). Blue Cross Blue Shield (aggregate across states) denies ~18% of claims (2023 data). Elevance, Cigna, and Centene denies ~16-17% of claims (2023 data). Humana, which when you consider their military benefits administration, is basically a government payer denies ~12% (2023 data). And of all denied insurance claims, in the entire United States, only ~1% of them are appealed. And of those appealed only ~46% of that 1% are overturned. Health insurance is a scam. It’s a farce. The subsidy isn’t for the patient. And the physicians don’t get paid - at all - ~20% of the time. And when they do get paid, there’s always some kind of adjustment lowering the reimbursement; and it takes - on average - 71 days to get paid!
