Military and financial assistance from all countries, including the United States, does play a role, and we very much appreciate it. But Trump is not the president who provided it.

Vance is a smart guy who constantly makes arguments that he knows are dumb but thinks will play well politically.

Todd Blanche gave it away today that Trump has committed significant tax crimes. The DOJ would not be involved in Treasury department audits and tax penalties unless there were significant crimes that could be referred for prosecution when Trump left office.

As if a $1.8 billion slush fund weren't a severe enough violation of the rule of law, Trump's "settlement" with the IRS also includes a permanent get-out-of-jail-free card for any tax crimes committed by the president, his family and his companies.

How much grifting and scamming will it take to get the fiscal conservatives of the GOP to join us and put a stop to this presidential plundering of taxpayer dollars?

This is an unprecedented level of corruption. Trump is forcing the government to drop ALL tax audits of him, his family, and his businesses—giving him FULL IMMUNITY from prosecution. What is Trump hiding from the American people? Congress must step up and stop this corruption.

Any DOJ settlement that gives the President a dollar -- or a direct material benefit -- is a flagrant violation of the Presidential Emoluments Clause: "The President shall not receive ... any other Emolument from the United States, or any of [the states]." Art II, S.1, cl. 7.
