It's hard to know where to start with tonight's Ryan Adams show at the Waterfront.
But the man needs help badly. It's quite sad to see someone so talented lose it in front of your eyes
@JonnyMaxx@Gareth_McCull I asked if this had happened previously on the tour and he just said he was outside the theatre most of the gig so didn't know what was going on (apart from when he played bass for one track). He said they were all on the same tour bus and I just urged them to take care of him.
@anti_plasticbag@thinkoficecream@AdultHumFemale@bigw1979 160 mile round trip. Not even gutted about that bit. Just so sad to see him behave like this. It was off from the minute he came on stage. We were in the second row and it was so intense and awkward, we just felt uncomfortable and on edge.
@thinkoficecream@AdultHumFemale@bigw1979 We left at the same time as you. Couldn’t stand it any longer. A brilliant encore would not have been possible or made up after that crap. I feel sorry for fans that traveled miles to see that. We just had to get the glider.
Gig 1 of 25. Ryan Adams doing heartbreaker in the waterfront Hall, Belfast. If you thought Bangor were poor at seeing things out, meet Ryan. Tragically brilliant but a troubled man. Hope we make it through
@Gareth_McCull Most of us were just hoping to hear more. I agree with you. Too many opportunities to allow interactions with individuals.
Start of the second half was so promising with one song flowing into the next. Then it all started up again. My musical idol.Sad to see.
@jk781 Some of the crowd were yes, but he did nothing to help himself either.
By all means, interact with the crowd, but play more songs and stop overdoing the self-indulgence.
I love his music but he was embarrassing tonight.
@CBeebiesHQ Best wishes to Steven, I really hope he's ok. It hasn't been the same without him these last few days. A great character actor for kids' TV. We even sing the Dusting for Justin song about the house.
@BrendaBlethyn I agree that it's 3. But please, Ms Blethyn, put me and millions of others out of our misery... Will you be doing another series of Vera? Hoping and praying that the answer is Yes!
Northern Ireland: can't get anything done because #Stormont isn't up and running. Also Northern Ireland: can manage to get a six month extension to coronavirus special powers. Rotten to the core.
@JeremyVineOn5 pretending he's annoyed at fines being handed out to people during lockdown when he held a debate on Radio 2 asking people if they should phone the police if they see visitors arriving at their neighbours' houses. 🤔🤔
Sweden's remarkable performance in the international comparison charts for excess deaths should make us all ask the question - was there a better way?
Evidently, the answer is yes.
It was never lockdowns or nothing - don't let those who pushed restrictions frame it like that.
The COVID-19 vaccine is now being offered to all children aged 6 months to 4 years. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine should protect your child and those around them from getting COVID-19. For more information visit: bit.ly/3ZUOSXx#COVIDVaccine
Everyone now sticking up for Gary Lineker about free speech.
Where was everyone when Matt Le Tissier got sacked from Sky Sports supporting him and his free speech? Might I add he’s been right about everything!
I didn’t see no football pundits sticking up for him 🤷♂️
There is no way this woman on #TenToTheTop on @BBCRadio2 knew all those questions…sure she was typing it into Google! I was doing the same and could have come up with those answers in enough time! #radio2#quiz
