Exactly one year ago, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei predicted AI would write 90% of the code within 3-6 months. 12 months later and we haven’t gotten there yet.

@sherifgjini yes everyone can build anything. but most businesses dont have enough time to build their everything tools, they would think of outsourcing . clients are still paying for highly crafted websites or entire MVPs

How long did the indie hacker era last? If everyone can build anything and no longer needs an app, why bother shipping? Is this really over

@soy_muse I like that it is super easy to build out custom GPTs which can help me do some specific tasks...... But yeah, so many times it is weirdly 'too nice' OpenAI its ok to say, "Hey thats actually a pretty dumb idea."

Am I the only one who thinks that ChatGPT is becoming more and more outdated, imprecise, and unoriginal? It just tells you what you want to hear

Now remembers every detail of every conversation (again, without me asking) • Texts me proactively when a competitor posts content that performs better than their average • Continuously analyzing my own X posts, letting me know daily what hooks, wording, structures, and topics perform well • Download and test new local models when they launch without me asking, then give me the benchmarks based on its tests If you can show me how to do any of these use cases with ChatGPT without any additional tooling, the million dollars is yours.
