I've been on Joe Rogan's podcast twice now. Sharp guy, asks great questions, picks up on things immediately, intensely and sincerely curious. The world is a better place for having him doing podcasts.

@jwmares @sriramk What do you feel is behind the decline in drinking alcohol? Is it representative of prioritizing health in general?

@sriramk - regular psychedelic use for therapeutic reasons - not drinking - investing in assets outside of stocks - tax evasion as it becomes easier + gov loses legitimacy - having your own media company (newsletter, twitter, tiktok) that drives $$ and career opportunities

@TeslaBull2 @DavidSacks This is what stood out to me on the latest pod as not data-backed. There is no way to know if your (or anyone’s) reaction would have been any different un-jabbed.

@DavidSacks A logical error you made on your recent pod was saying that you had mild symptoms BECAUSE you were vaccinated. This is not true: the most likely outcome BY FAR for your age group is mild symptoms, irrespective of vaccine status.

This is seriously misleading. Yes the Delta variant is breaking through. But that doesn’t mean vaccines are “failing”. Vaxxed people get mild cold-like symptoms. Unvaxxed people risk serious illness. Still highly worthwhile to get vaxxed.

Honestly: I’ve been losing more than I’ve been winning lately. House Flipping = very hard in this market with wild speculation of future value. GC client work = unprofitable and wrong fit for me. Rentals = low income tenants in C- neighborhoods isn’t for me or fun.

@jwmares Sounds like a great group retreat.

Many people have never experienced a healthy environment for even a week: - no garbage food - plenty of sunlight - no social media - surrounded by community - little stress I suspect a paleo-like bootcamp would do wonders for people's health.

Social consensus is not the same thing as truth.

@paulg People have various levels of fear tolerance (which is fine), but we all owe it to ourselves to not let the media be our source of truth anymore. Dig deeper!

at least four months late... this is why folks don't trust the CDC and weren't getting the vaccine. Hopefully, now the incentive is so strong that people will get the shot. we could have saved thousands of lives if we had done this in Jan/Feb.

It's crazy to me that school today: - put kids inside all day - feeds them terrible foods - make them sit 6+ hours - pretends they can pay attention to not-that-interesting topics for 6 hours And when they can't do the above, we medicate them.

Owning a company is a superpower to buying more. Financing is cray because of track record. (0% down 😳) Cold outreach is easier because you’re “in industry” and not some faceless PE/searcher with the same website as every other searcher. (K - srsly why do they all look same)
