I’m all for Gaelic learning, but I do question whether it hasn’t got too mixed up with nationalist politics and identity. Here’s a test: who will be the first Irish language organisation to proudly display this? If Irish is for everyone, this will be uncontroversial.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Darryl Grimason. Worked with him over the course of 30 years at Bel Tel & then BBC. Great journalist and a gentle, warm human-being in good times & in bad in Belfast. Always saw the positive in life. Deeply missed in death.
