At a cost of $285 million, Milan is building 466 miles of a citywide, grade-separated bike network, representing just 35% of the cost of a single highway interchange in Chicago.

Two real estate investors saw this scene and decided it was bad and found two university professors who were willing to sell their reputations for some money to write a paper claiming it was bad for quality of life lol

The BYU Central Campus UVX stop opened today. This new stop closes a service gap along 900 East and strengthens our transit network as we continue working to make it quicker, easier and more affordable for people to get around. It’s another step toward reducing traffic, easing parking challenges and giving residents more transportation options.

What we really need are more holiday markets across the Wasatch Front so that Christkindlmarkt isn’t the only festive gig on the first Saturday of December. There is clearly demand. We’ll be working on what we can do up at This Is The Place, and I may ping you over the coming months for input, if that’s alright.

What a monumental day for Vineyard City! The long awaited arrival of a grocery store is finally here and Bella’s Market will be an incredible asset to the community. A win all around for resident convenience, nearby jobs and local sales tax. Great work, Mayor Fullmer and the Vineyard team! 📸: @Jacobnielson12

This morning, I described how blessed it is to be a peacemaker and how peacemaking begins in the most basic place: in our hearts, then in homes and families. As we practice there, peacemaking will spread into our neighborhoods and communities. Peacemakers are sometimes labeled naive or weak from all sides. Yet, to be a peacemaker is not to be weak, but to be strong in a way the world may not understand.

@bikelakecity @jodanc10 A block to Geneva, then like a mile or less to the temple. Have to pass through a packed intersection though. It’s super close, but unless they’ve added a trail, not a very bike friendly road. You could cut through apt complexes to make it safer though.

I’ve been wondering about bike-accessible temples. Draper is up there with Blue Line/Corner Canyon. And of course downtown is downtown. What others make the list? #slc

Can’t believe Mike Lee wants to sell the grand staircase for “housing” when like 40% of the salt lake valley is parking lots

@olymasic I 100% believe Orem should rezone all the industrial stuff west of I-15 into as high density as they can muster. NIMBY’s in Vineyard would be mad but couldn’t do anything about it. NIMBY’s in Orem wouldn’t be affected. Could brand it as an extension of Utah City
